If you thought spelling in English was hard, then you should try spelling in another language. This week Latin-American Student Organization (L.A.S.O.) held a Spelling Bee in Spanish to make their meeting a little more interesting.
"Tiempo. T-i-e-m-p-o." Said Bianca Morales, a member of L.A.S.O.
As if the loss of members in African People's Organization wasn't enough, the latinos are losing members in their clubs as well, which is why they decided to spice things up at this weeks meeting.
"We want to spread the word about our club," said Jovan Capote, Vice-President, "our club isnt just for latinos, all races are welcome and we dont discriminate against anyone."
L.A.S.O meets every tuesday at 6pm on the third floor of the University Center, the room in which it takes place is constantly changing but you can easily spot the room, when you hear accents and spanish being shouted from across the room.
