Black Students United

Since there were so few members this year, Carribean Cultural Awareness Club and African People's Organization have decided to join together and become Black Students United.

"We're hoping to get more members this way, since the two clubs can join together. That means that this one club will have twice the amount of members as the sperate two clubs." Said Christina Roberts, president of Carribean Cultural Awareness Club.

Black Students United voted on their new Executive Board last night and are very excited for a new year.

"We have a lot of new ideas for you guys!" Said Melita Dillard, the new president of Black Students United. "We're going to have a lot of fun."

Already the new club is designing their new t-shirts, entitled B.S.U. in black, red, and white. They are also making a strong effort to advertise their new club. Monday afternoon they had their first B.B.Q which consisted of free food, fun games, free snow cones, free t-shirt designs, and a free photo booth.

With all these fun activities already started before the year is even over, you can only expect for from B.S.U.
